It is dubbed "uncomfortable, emotional music," but the Italian quartet from Rome should start getting used to the lime light. Klimt 1918 is a outfit that mixes dark 80's new wave (think Bauhaus and The Smiths) and this decades intelligent music (think Arcade Fire and The National). The bands second release Just In Case We'll Never Meet Again (Soundtrack for the Cassette Generation) is due in stores later this month and will be one of those records that will make you sit back, think and just zone out to. It is also one of those records you can have on in the background and even make love to. They do sing is English (so no worries over translation here), but they are the type of band that will strike a chord with audiences around the world.
