Johnny Cash is set to release another posthumous record, coming in February will be Bootlegs 2 from Memphis to Hollywood. The Bootlegs will feature B-sides, rarities and live takes from Cash's 50's-60's era.

In a New Year's message to fans, Pulp promise to not let fans down during their reunion gigs this summer. The band said via e-mail: "We will not let you down. The fact that so many of you have shown in interest is an inspiration – we knew it was a big part of our lives, it's exciting to know it's a big part of your lives too. We have played the songs and the songs sound good. We can have fun together, get to know each other again. Christ, it's been too long – we'd almost forgotten what you look like. Don't ever let that happen again. Cross your heart?"Pulp will be playing a series of shows in the UK this summer with a possible rumor of Glastonbury.

File this under - Holy Shit - Space rockers, Muse have had "real discussions" about playing in outer space - yep, outer space! Singer and guitarist Matt Bellamy told UK's The Sun, "I'm thinking of approaching Richard Branson to see if we could do it on his [Virgin Galactic] spacecraft he's got happening," he said. "Although we do have a lot of equipment, so I guess we'd have to use pods to carry our stuff and we'd scale back the shows a lot."

The Flaming Lips plan to release a single a month for the next year! The band, who are doing something similar to what the Bouncing Souls did in 2009, will release a new song a month, however the band will be choosing different formats to release each single.

TV on the Radio bassist and Maximum Balloon main man, David Sitek has joined Jane's Addiction on bass. Sitek, who is replacing Duff McKagen after he left the band in mid-2010, is writing and recording with the band at the moment for the forthcoming Jane's record, which is slated for a summer release. This is the first album of new material from Jane's Addiction since 2003's Strays.

Speaking of bassists, Rolling Stones have recorded for the first time since 1989 with original bassist Bill Wyman. Wyman, who left the group in the early 90's, is collaborating with the Stones again for a tribute to late Stones pianist, Ian Stewart. The band recorded a cover of Bob Dylans "Watching the River Flow" for a compilation due out soon called, Boogie for Stu.

Pearl Jam are marking their 20th anniversary in a very big way. The grunge monsters are set to release Live on 10 Legs, the follow-up to 1998's Live on Two Legs and rerelease their Vs and Vitology records in deluxe box set form. However, that is not all, as mentioned before, the band are planning their own summer festival to mark the occasion and will release the Cameron Crowe directed film Pearl Jam's Twenty later this year.

One of our 15 to Watch, The Vaccines have given some details about their forthcoming and much anticipated debut, What Did You Expect from The Vaccines. The album is set for a March 21 release and here is the track listing:
