While 2012 maybe the year of The Rolling Stones 50th anniversary, the legendary rockers will tour in 2013 to celebrate. Keith Richards told Rolling Stone magazine, "Basically, we're just not ready. I have a feeling that's [2013] more realistic." He then went on to justify touring then by saying, "The Stones always considered '63 to be 50 years, because Charlie [Watts, drummer] didn't actually join until January. We look upon 2012 as sort of the year of conception, but the birth is next year."
While The Hives have confirmed the release of their fifth record, Lex Hives for June, the band's singer Howlin' Pete told NME "It's been a terrible couple of years for the band. We're out of the dark ages now though, but we've had a lot of problems. Problems of all kinds. Rock 'n' roll kind of problems, but we're ready to go now." The Hives make their US return next month at Coachella.
