Between September 2012 and January 2013, Green Day will release a trilogy of albums entitled Uno!, Dos!, Tré!. 

While Green Day's Billie Joe Armstrong was picked to induct Guns 'N Roses into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, in a shocking twist - Axl Rose has refused his invitation to Saturday's induction for Guns 'N Roses. In a letter to the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, Rose stated, "This decision is personal. This letter is to help clarify things from my and my camp’s perspective. Neither is meant to offend, attack or condemn. Though unfortunately I’m sure there will be those who take offence (God knows how long I’ll have to contend with the fallout), I certainly don't intend to disappoint anyone, especially the fans, with this decision." The letter, which was published on LA Times blog, which you can read HERE, forced a response from the Hall of Fame themselves and said in a statement, "We are sorry Axl will not be able to accept his induction in person."

Q-Tip has signed to Kanye West's G.O.O.D. Music label and is set to release his new record, The Last Zulu in early 2013.

Famed director, F. Gary Gray (Friday, The Italian Job) has signed on to direct the biopic, Straight Outta Compton, the film about N.W.A. 

Miles Kane has confirmed that The Modfather Paul Weller and he are collaborating on material together. Kane said to NME, "We'll just see what happens when we get into that room. We're going into Paul's place and I can't wait to get in there and throw some ideas around. It's like mod heaven, his studio."

The Vaccines are taking a break from recording their new album, the follow-up to last year's brilliant, What Did You Expect From The Vaccines? and hitting the road. In the meantime, singer Justin Young told BBC1 that they have an issue with the new record, "We have too many songs," he continued and said, "I was really worried going into the second record that it would be a case of not having enough songs but the thing that's keeping me awake at night is having too many songs, which is no bad thing." We will be covering the band's April 23 show in NYC.
