On Tuesday, legendary singer Bob Dylan along with 12 other recipients that included author Toni Morrison and astronaut and former Senator John Glenn received the Presidential Medal of Freedom, which is the highest civilian honor any American citizen can receive.

Frank Turner and his band, The Sleeping Souls have confirmed via Twitter, they are rehearsing for recording sessions of Turner's new album. In related Turner news, he will release his Live from Wembley DVD this summer.

The Vaccines will release their new album, The Vaccines Come of Age in September.

The Killers have named their fourth album, the record Battle Born is currently being recorded in the band's Vegas studio of the same name. The Killers hope to have it out by the fall.

Mumford and Sons have confirmed they will release their new, still untitled record, this September.

Indie rapper P.O.S. will release his new album, We Don't Even Live Here on September 18.

After coming out as transgender, Against Me! front man formerly known as Tommy Gabel, played her first show as Laura Jane Grace over the weekend in San Diego. The band also confirmed that their new album will be called Transgender Dysphoria Blues. No word on a release date, but the band did play six new tracks off the record, which leads to speculation that it will arrive sometime this year.

Former Red Hot Chili Peppers guitarist, John Fruscante will release an EP Letur-Lefr, this summer and then a full length record this fall entitled PBX Funicular Intaglio Zone.
