Springsteen Speaks About Sandy

Wednesday night in Rochester, New York, Bruce Springsteen gave a touching tribute to his "Adopted hometown" of Asbury Park, New Jersey, after the devastation left behind by Hurricane Sandy.

He and the E-Street Band performed "My City of Ruins," a song originally written about Asbury Park at the turn of the century before it was adopted by everyone as the siren song for a post 9/11 New York / Tri-state area. Now, after all these years, the song finds its original meaning again.
