Vampire Weekend will release their yet-to-be titled third record in May.
Guns 'N Roses will release a 3-D concert film later this year. The film, which was shot during the bands Las Vegas residency will be the first live concert video the band has released in decades.
Speaking to Billboard, Questlove, who is producing the new and much anticipated D'Angelo album, says the record is "99% done." The duo hope to turn the record in next month and have it released this year. Questlove went on to say, "He's one of those artists that have, of course, taken 13 years to follow up a record. It's going to take you about 10 years to digest this record. Totally brilliant. Just the way this society works with music . . . being able to judge if something is a classic after the first listen, you can do that after 30 seconds on this. And the fact that we started this record in 2004, and it still sounds like it came out five years from now, it is a testament to the timelessness of it."
Pete Doherty has begun work on a new Babyshambles record and producing the project is legendary producer, Stephen Street. The project was initially set to be Doherty's second solo record but as now morphed into a full on Babyshambles project.
