Quick News

Sad news to report, former Iron Maiden drummer Clive Burr has passed away at age 56. Burr, who played on the metal titans first three albums had been suffering from multiple sclerosis and died in his sleep at home. Our thoughts are with Burr's family, friends, and Maiden.

Black Sabbath will release their Rick Rubin produced new album, 13, on June 10 in UK and the following day in the U.S.

Miles Kane confirmed that the title of his new record will be Don't Forget Who You Are. The album is slated for a late Spring arrival.

Arctic Monkey's drummer Matt Helders spoke to NME and dropped a major hint about the band's new album. He said, "I have been in the desert… with motorcycles. Not with Josh [Homme], no. The band's just been working together, the band working on our own so far, writing and stuff. There's no time deadlines or anything like that for release. We're just getting back into it, because it always takes a while to get back into it." He then confirmed the album would arrive later this year by saying, "Well, we'd be stupid if we made a 2013 album and released it next year."

The children of the late Notorious B.I.G. will star in a new cartoon called House of Wallace. According to AP, the show will feature 16-year-old C.J. and 19-year-old T'yanna Wallace as they maintain their late father's Brooklyn recording studio and defend it against buyout from a larger company. Their father, Christopher Wallace aka B.I.G. will appear in "spirit" and offer guidance to his kids. The show does not have a network buyer yet.

The wife of late Johnny Ramone, Linda, is planning to turn her late husband's life and times with The Ramones into a movie. Linda confirmed the news to Rolling Stone saying, "I have offers right now to do a Ramones movie." She is unsure of what angle to take from the bands infamous story, her possiblities are their life growing up together in Forrest Hills, Queens, or their rise as a punk band or form the perspective Johnny gave in his 2012 posthumous autobiography, Commando.
