Chicago's Chance the Rapper is claiming that he is moving in with James Blake to work on material together. The duo teamed up last year to remix one of Blake's tracks and Chance is telling NME, ""I've never lived anywhere other than this house, the one I grew up in in Chicago. It will probably be like being on vacation for the first couple of months. Then I'll start figuring out what kind of music I'll be making. We're probably going to make a bunch of shit every day. I don't know what we're going to do with it. We might give some shit to other artists. We're getting a compound so we figure we might invite people round to the crib and make some music in the house, then kick them out and bring in some new people."
Jazz legend Herbie Hancock has been appointed Norton Professor of Poetry at Harvard University. He will deliver six lectures on the ethics of jazz in February and March.
The Broadway musical based around the music and life of Tupac Shakur will premiere on Broadway in June. The musical, Holler If Ya Hear Me, was produced by his mother.
The documentary chronicling the end of Swedish House Mafia called Leave the World Behind, will make it's big screen debut at this year's SXSW Festival in March.
