Crocodiles have confirmed they are in Mexico City working on their next record. No word as to when the sessions will be completed or when the new material will be out.
Speaking at a press conference ahead of their headlining performance at Sweden Rock Festival in Sweden over the weekend, Ozzy Osbourne said he would do another Black Sabbath album, saying, "We haven't really discussed it. It is possible there's gonna be another album. But we haven't really sat down and decided what we're gonna do yet. We just wanna finish this tour and then we'll see."
Alt-J will release their new album, This Is All Yours in September.
XL producer Rodiadh McDonald spoke to Dazed magazine and said The xx are currently working on their third record. He said, "We’re doing it in Texas and Iceland, and maybe France. So that’s kind of starting in the middle of July, I’ve already spent a bit of time with them in Texas. There are songs which have come out of our experiences in New York and Texas that would never have come out in London; the colours and the ideas and the moods on some of these songs are just not things you would write in London. It’s about opening things up a bit more. They are a London band, but they’re also a band that’s spent a lot of time in different countries. So we’re trying to push that further with the Iceland trip, which is happening in July."
Taking to Twitter, Childish Gambino has announced that he and Chance the Rapper are working on an E.P. No word yet as to when it will be released.
In an interview with UK's Sunday Times, Ray Davies opened up about the possibilities of a Kinks reunion. He said, "I met Dave only last week to talk about getting back together again. We’ve also spoken a few times on the phone and emailed. He’s been composing his own songs, but I’d really like to write with him again. We both agree we don’t want to do old stuff or tour with past hits. It’s got to be something new." Following the interview, Dave Davies took to Facebook to clarify comments and said, "I met and talked with Ray but nothing has been agreed on yet."
