Could a cold-wave band hail from any other place aside from the U.K., Scandinavia, or the U.S.? Italy's
Soviet Soviet are certainly proving so. The trio, who formed in 2008, have two albums already under their belt and are known in the Italian underground rock scene, they also have been slowly making a name for themselves in the U.S. as well after an appearance this year at the SXSW festival in Austin, Texas. While the band hit the road to tour all of Europe this summer, they captured our attention with a sound that feels and sounds as if it came straight out of Manchester, England, in the early 80's but also has a modern and unique twist to it.
