U2 have been forced to cancel their week-long Tonight Show residency after Bono had a bicycle accident in Central Park which required surgery on his shoulder. The band plan on doing the residency in the future.

Patti Smith once famously boasted, "Jesus Died For Somebody's Sins, But Not Mine!" Now, she will be singing for the person closest to God's son, according to Catholics, as she will perform for The Pope at a special Concert for Peace next month at the Vatican.

Silverchair will reissue their 2000 LP, Neon Ballroom, in January. It will be the first time the Aussie rockers released their third album on vinyl.
