One of Seattle's most famous sons, Jimi Hendrix, will be immortalized in his hometown by having a park named after him. The park has secured a developer and will be finished and unveiled this fall.

Black Sabbath have confirmed that their FINAL show ever will be this fall at OzzFest Japan. The band, who reunited in 2012, released their latest record, 13 in 2013, toured extensively through that year and are looking to have their swan song this year. The band are reportedly going to release new music this year as well.

Snoop Dogg is developing a drama with HBO set in the 1980's L.A. about a family struggling with Reganomics, the crack issue, and violence. No word as to when the show will arrive.

Johnny Marr has confirmed that "the time has come" for the iconic Smiths guitarist to tell his story. Marr will release his autobiography in the fall of 2016 and will reportedly discuss everything from his childhood in Manchester to his time withe The Smiths to his solo work and the various bands he has played in.

Brandon Flowers is enlisting some heavy hitters for his sophomore album, The Desired Effect, which arrives in May. Flowers has Killers member Ronnie Vannucci Jr., as well as Ethan Farmer, Bruce Hornsby, Tony Levin, Kenny Arnof, Angel Deradoorian, Joey Waronker, and Danielle Haim, Pet Shop Boys’ Neil Tennant, contributing their talents.
