Next month former manager and photographer Danny Fields will publish My Ramones, an intimate look at the New York punk icons as they celebrate the 40th anniversary to their debut album.
Speaking to Pitchfork, Frank Ocean's collaborator and producer Malay has given an update on the follow-up to Channel Orange....sort of. He said: "I always tell people: When he’s ready, the world is gonna get it. It could be tomorrow… well not tomorrow but maybe a month [laughs]. We’ve all been working hard. He’s been working super hard. I feel like he’s working harder than he’s ever worked in his life. I’m excited for everyone to hear it. I think people are going to be pleasantly surprised, for sure."
Notorious BIG's widow Faith Evans has revealed that she will be releasing a new duet record with recordings with Biggie called The King and I. The record is apparently in the final stages and will be out in September, she told Dame Dash in a recent radio interview.
Unlocking the Truth will release their much anticipated new album, Chaos, in June.
Speaking to Rolling Stone, The Edge has said that U2 have about 50 news songs for a record tentatively titled Songs of Experience, the sequel to 2014's Songs of Innocence. He said: ""Including a lot of my really rough demos - I'm not suggesting they're finished, by any means - there's actually 50 pieces of music that I've put time into. Some of them have not been arranged or performed by the band, but there's 50 ideas, and probably about 20 that we're actually really excited about. So we've got some ways to narrow it down, but we're in good shape."
