The 1975's Matt Healy has told Billboard that new music could come sooner rather than later. The frontman said: "I’m always making an album. I'm always confused by the language of bands who are 'going to make a record' or not being able to write on tour. I think that's just something you do – whenever, wherever."

Despite boycotts from many artists like Bruce Springsteen, Ringo Starr and Pearl Jam, among others -- Dave Matthews Band will still perform in the Tarheel State on Friday even with the controversial "Bathroom Bill" in effect.  DMB however, will donate proceeds from the ticket sales to equality groups in the state.

In July, the 40th anniversary of the Ramones self-titled debut will be reissued as a Deluxe Edition via Rhino. The three-disc / 1 LP reissue will feature the original mono release, outtakes, live recordings, B-Sides and demos.

In an upcoming BBC4 documentary on David Bowie, a plethora of new music is set to be heard for the first time in the film like demos and covers. A BBC spokeswoman told NME: "The programme is still being made, but we can confirm that there will be some rare and special Bowie material in it."
