Tom Morello told The Wall Street Journal that the supergroup, Prophets of Rage will record new music and not just do Rage Against the Machine, Public Enemy and Cypress Hill covers. The guitarist said: "While the tour will be exploring, deeply, the catalogues of Rage, Public Enemy and Cypress Hill, we've got a new song or two that we want to record before we go out on the road." He also spoke about how RATM frontman Zach de la Rocha is not involved in this, saying: "We have nothing but the greatest love and honor and respect for Zack de la Rocha, the brilliant lyricist of Rage Against the Machine, who is working on his own music, which I'm sure will be fantastic - he's a great artist in his own right."

Speaking to NPR, Paul McCartney revealed a massive secret -- he still feels he doesn't know how to be a songwriter. The former Beatle said: "“There’s no point where you think ‘OK, now I can do it’, as it’s a little more fluid than that. You talk to other musicians and it’s always the same. You go into the studio thinking ‘Oh, I know how to do this’, but then you realise you’re doing it all over again and starting from square one again. You’ve never got it down. Music is fluid, and I like that. I wouldn’t like to be blasé and think ‘I know how to do this.’”
